Gnok is a preview.
Gnok is in Limited Availability. It is a preview, not a production service: it may change, be unavailable, or be reset without notice, and there is no uptime commitment. Data you store may be deleted, including when the preview ends. Don't upload personal, confidential or regulated data (for example health, financial or customer records). AI features send your prompts and the data they reference to our AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI). Questions: support@gnok.com.
What Limited Availability means
- No uptime commitment. There is no service-level agreement. Gnok may be slow, unavailable or under maintenance, sometimes without warning. Current health is on the status page.
- Things will change. Features, limits, SQL behavior and APIs may change or be removed as we learn from the preview.
- Data may be deleted. We may need to reset an environment, and data stored during the preview may be deleted when it ends. Keep your own copy of anything you need.
- Some addresses say "staging". A few service addresses, such as the token issuer
catalog.staging.gnok.io, still say "staging". That is expected during the preview.
Don't store sensitive data
Use sample, synthetic or public data. Don't upload personal information about people, confidential business data, or regulated data such as health, financial, payment-card or customer records. Gnok has not been certified for any compliance program during the preview.
AI features and your data
AI features are off until a monthly token budget is granted and an administrator of your organization enables them. When they run, Gnok sends the prompt and the data it references to an AI provider: Anthropic for language models and OpenAI for embeddings. Don't use AI features on data you wouldn't share with those providers.
The free plan
During the preview every new organization is on the free plan. It is meant for trying Gnok, so its resources are limited and shared:
| Resource | Free plan |
|---|---|
| Catalogs | 3 |
| Schemas | 30 |
| Tables | 100 |
| Warehouses | None of your own; queries run on a shared warehouse |
| Members | 5 |
| Models | 30 |
| Streams | 5 |
| Tasks | 2 |
| Dynamic tables | 2 |
| Queries at a time | 3 |
| Queries per minute | 60 |
| Longest query | 5 minutes |
| Storage | 10 GB |
| Notebooks running at a time | 2 |
| AI tokens | 0 until Gnok grants a monthly budget (up to 1,000,000) |
| Embedding tokens | 2,000,000 a month |
Your organization's current usage is in Gnok Studio under Operations → Plan & limits. To raise a limit or request an AI budget, email support@gnok.com.
Getting access
Anyone can request an organization. During the preview we review each new organization before it can sign in, and we may limit how many organizations we accept. If the preview is full, the sign-up page says so: email support@gnok.com to join the waitlist. Organizations that don't verify their email within 24 hours are removed a week later.
Getting your data out, or leaving
- Export: run a query in Gnok Studio and download the results as CSV or JSON. For results larger than the browser shows, use Export all. See Exporting your data.
- Delete your organization: email support@gnok.com from an administrator's address. Sign-in stops right away and the organization's data is deleted after 7 days. See Deleting your organization.
